The aim of this work is to increase the percentage of RENACYT research professors, and the percentage of students graduated by the modality of development of thesis. According to statistics published by the General Planning Office of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (OGPL, 2020), until 2020 only 16% of professors are researchers registered in the National Registry of Science and Technology (RENACYT), and in turn, only 22% of students who completed their studies (SCS) choose to graduate through the development of thesis. For this, in the Faculty of Systems Engineering, a research team was organized where 8 professors and 12 SCS participated. The results achieved were the increase of 37.5% of RENACYT research professors and the increase of 10.5% of SCS graduates per thesis. It is concluded that the collaborative work providing extraordinary support to the SCS in the development of their thesis generates the increase in the percentage of graduates per thesis and the increase of research professors recognized by RENACYT.
