Trichodesma indicum is an herbaceous plant of the Boraginaceae family commonly known as Adhapushpi, which is found throughout India. The plant is also traditionally reported in the treatment of skin diseases, allergy, arthritis, arthralgia, wound healing and dysentery. This study aims to determine the detailed morphological and anatomical characters of the whole plant of T. indicum. Standard methods were used to conduct the morphological and anatomical examination on the stem, leaf, flower, fruit, seed, and root, as well as powder microscopy. This study reports showed extensive research on morphology and anatomy of stem, leaf, root, flower, fruit, seed and powder microscopy is helpful for the researchers to differentiate with other plants and further to take up the research for this traditionally valuable herb.
