Abstract

​Background and objectives : Learning is one of the most important human activities. In this field, experts should recognize related factors like gender and modify learning accordingly, to reach the best constant results; so this study was aimed at investigating gender effect on students’ learning improvement and satisfaction. Material and Methods : This observational study was conducted in Rasht nursing institute.Two groups of male (n=21) and female (n=19) that were selected conveniently were taught with similar teaching method and their learning and improvement satisfaction were assessed using researcher-based questionnaire using independent t-test, chi-square test and Fisher's exact test in SPSS 13. Results : Comparing demographic characteristics showed that there were significant differences between two groups in case of work experience in medical field (p Conclusion : According to the results, both genders get similar benefits from lecture method, but females are more satisfied.
